Support the Library

It takes a city to support the Library! Many citizens and organizations contribute to the health of the Berkeley Public Library.

Berkeley Public Library Foundation

Friends of the Berkeley Public Library

The Friends of the Berkeley Public Library is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to support and expand the educational, cultural, and outreach programs of the Library. The Friends work with library staff to build collections and to stimulate community interest in the Library.

The Friends invite your membership. Annual dues: $25
We will gladly accept your tax deductible contribution of any amount.

The organization is governed by a Board of Directors which meets monthly. The quarterly newsletter, Berkeley Bookmark, is distributed to members and is also available at all library locations.
