Waiting for Harry Potter

As of December 2006, there are six Harry Potter books in print: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (1997), Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (1999), Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (1999), Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2000), Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (2003), and Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (2005) J.K. Rowling has yet to announce the title or publication date for the last of the seven books, but it is believed that it may be released in mid to late 2007 - but don't be surprised if we have to wait a little longer…

While you're waiting for the LAST book about Harry, search our shelves for these titles. They aren't exactly like Harry Potter, but offer their own worlds of magic and excitement. The symbol (+) indicates that there are other books by the same author, possibly in the same series, to look for. You'll find these books in the Children's Fiction and Young Teen Fiction collections organized by the author's last name.
